version 6 in our courses, all of the basic, fundamental programming is
very similar to VB.NET and later versions. You will find that most (if not all) of the
topics we cover in VB6 will be easy to follow in VB.NET. Some will be
a little different, but you should be able to figure out the
changes. VB.NET was designed to take advantage of
programming for the Web, but if you're just looking to build a solid
foundation and a good understanding of VB programming, or
Windows-based program development, then our VB courses are just fine
for you.
