Need to build a presentation yesterday? This seminar
will teach you how to create your slides, add graphics and charts, and
customize your layout. We will teach you how to animate your slideshow,
add sounds & narration, and package your presentation for the road. This
one seminar covers all the basics.
This is a web seminar that you can view on the web from the comfort
of your home or office. You will need to have Windows Media Player (a
free download from Microsoft) version 6 or higher installed on your
computer to participate. Registration for all three classes is only
$29.

This course will teach you how to create your
slides, add graphics and charts, and customize your layout. We
will teach you how to animate your slideshow, add sounds &
narration, and package your presentation for the road. We will
also teach you how to use graphics and objects from Word and
Excel to enhance your presentations. We'll cover a little
graphic editing using Microsoft Paint, and teach you how to
build slides from the ground up.
PreRequisites: Windows Basics and Word Basics.
Students should have a good understanding of how to use Windows,
and a computer in general. Students should also how to use a
word processor, like Microsoft Word, to create basic documents.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be helpful, but not required.
No prior experience designing presentations is required, however
it would be helpful if students have some experience with
traditional (non-computer) presentations. |
|
So if you're serious about learning how to use PowerPoint,
this seminar is for you. This is the complete video recorded from
one of our previous seminars.
Please note: this seminar was recorded from a
LIVE webcast event. The quality of the video is not up
to the high standards of our normal 599CD courses. There are a couple of
skips and short blackouts during this video, but it is still very
instructional.

Veronica on 2/2/2008: How long do I have access to this course? Is this an indefinte access just like the cd's.Please let me know. I am interested. Thanks
|
Richard Rost on 2/5/2008: Once you register for a course, there is NO time limit. You can come back and watch it as many times as you'd like.
|
Hank on 5/8/2008: Is there a sample of Ppt seminar that I can view?
|
Richard Rost on 5/24/2008: Hank, I'm sorry but there is no preview available for the PowerPoint SEMINAR, however you can view the first 2 lessons of my PowerPoint 101 Course online.
|
Veronica on 8/19/2008: Richard I have been looking at power point for a long time. I plan to buy it. Now that you have all these new courses...I want to know if I also get the course is there a complete overlap or is there anything that is covered in the course that is not covered in the cd's.
Also, I am interested in knowing if you cover ipods. Do you cover any kind of interaction in the cd presentation? Thanks for letting me know
|
Richard Rost on 9/8/2008: Veronica, if you purchase the 599CD courses, there's no reason to purchase the Seminar as well. The Seminar was recorded YEARS ago before I was even recording 599CD lessons. It was a live webcast that I did - and all of the material in it is now covered in my 599CD lesson. I just have it still available for someone who wants a QUICK overview of PowerPoint and doesn't want to sit through 10 hours of 599CD lessons.

This is an old Seminar, there is a note in the Outline:
