 My name is
Richard Rost.
I am the president of the company, and I'm also the instructor who
records all of our video lessons. I am very proud of the product we
have put together, and I am involved in every step of production -
from concept to completion. Amicron Computing
has been in the computer training business since 1994. We have
been providing classroom-based training for many years. In 2001, we
decided to take our courses worldwide by offering LIVE seminars
on the Web. Due to their popularity, and at the request of many of our
students, we decided to package our courses and offer them on CD-ROM.
Thus was born 599CD.com. Our product is designed to be
easy to use, and to get you up and running quickly. All you
have to do is put our CD in your computer, and follow along with the
video lessons on the screen... or you can watch your lessons online,
right in your web browser. Just follow along with me, as I walk you
through each example step-by-step. If you're not sure whether or

How are we different from the
other computer-based training products available on the market? First of
all, our courses are very straight-forward. I don't spend a lot
of time talking about things you don't need to know at first. In our
Word class, for example, my goal is to get you writing a business
letter - and by the end of the one-hour class, you're doing just
that. In our Excel class, you'll be building a spreadsheet in no
time. We skip a lot of the bull and teach you what you need to know.The second, and most important
reason why we are different from our competitors is
our price. Our beginner lessons sell for just $5.99
each. Plain and simple. No gimmicks. We offer you an honest hour of computer training for an
honest six dollars. Period.
If you want more courses, or
higher-level material, you can come back to our web site at your leisure
to purchase them. There's no pressure. We won't automatically
bill you for the next lesson. We can afford to keep our lessons
priced low because we have tens-of-thousands of students worldwide,
and since we're an Internet-only business, we have low overhead. Furthermore, if you need help,
we're here for you. We have very active student
forums on our web site. You can always email in your questions, and we'll do
our best to answer them for you.
