| How Many Courses Are
There? |
Q: How many courses are there for any particular
topic, like Excel or Access? A:
We do not have any planned limits to the number of courses we will have in
each topic. Each of our courses is about an hour long and covers a wide
range of topics. We will continue to release new courses for each topic (like Excel
and Access) every month until we're out of topics. Quick frankly, I don't
see an end in site. As long as there is material to cover, we'll be
creating new courses!
In our classroom-based Microsoft Access course, for
example, we have six, 3-hour classes. That's 18 hours of training covering
beginner through advanced material. Expect to see at least 18
classes for Microsoft Access released over the next few months. Windows,
Word, and Excel will all probably have at least 10 or 12 classes each by
the end of the year.
How many do you need to buy in order to be
proficient? You can learn the basics with just one of our videos. After
taking our Excel 101 course, for example, you'll know how to build a basic
spreadsheet. Each class after that will build on your knowledge with a few
new topics. After completing the 100-level courses (101, 102, 103, etc.)
you should be more than proficient in that software. If I had to guess on
a number, I'd say after 3 or 4 of our courses, you'd be pretty
knowledgable.
Course outlines are available for most of our
tutorials at www.599cd.com/Courses.
