Microsoft Access Project Scoring
Scoring Projects with Multiple Categories and Various Criteria
Q: I have a database tracking projects.
I need to be able to calculate a score for each project
based on a number of different criteria such as the location, size, and
timeframe of the project. I need to be able to easily change the
criteria for each category, and the points allocated to each. How do you
recommend I do this? -Keith
A: You can create a table to
track all of your project categories and criteria, and then use combo
boxes and a tiny bit of programming to calculate the score. See the
