Calendar Seminar Addendum

Here are Alex's instructions and code:

1. Copy the CalendarF Form and rename it EventsF 2. Remove the Record Source 3. Delete the ID Field 4. Create a copy of the DateTime textbox 5. Add a new textbox and name it txtDays 6. Rename the Controls to txtStartDate, txtEndDate, txtDays, txtDescription, txtNotes 7. Rename the Labels 8. Add a Spin Button control and rename it spinDays 9. Set the Control Source of the txtDays to equal spinDays 10. Set the Default Value of txtDays to 0 11. Set the Default Value of txtStartDate to Now() 12. Set the DefaultValue of spinDays to 0. Min and Max to whatever you want and make sure SmallChange is 1 13. For the spinDays Updated Event set the Focus on txtDays. Private Sub sbDays_Updated(Code As Integer) txtDays.SetFocus End Sub 14. Create a sub to calculate the end date based on this change. Sub CalculateEndDate() txtEndDate = txtStartDate + txtDays End Sub 15. Call this code in the Updated event and the StartDate After_Update event Private Sub txtStartDate_AfterUpdate() CalculateEndDate End Sub 16. Add a button to the Form, rename it cmdCreate 17.
