WalkThru - Account Info
You can obtain information about your 599CD account by logging on to our Account Information Database, right through our Web site. You can obtain your course passwords, download links, shipping status, customer discounts, and more. This tutorial will show you how.

The first step is to log on to your 599CD account. Look for the Logon button on the menubar across the top of the screen, just below our logo. You can also click here.


NOTE: Use the email address and password you provided when you placed your order with us. If you have lost or forgotten your password, see the steps below on password recovery.

Once you are logged in, you should see a new menu bar appear, starting with your name on the left. You should also see the message "SUCCESS!" and our welcome screen. It should look similar to what you see below. We make minor changes to the site from time to time, but this is basically it:


Now click on the link that says Account Info, or My Account in the menu bar.


You should see the Main Menu, menubar, and a Welcome message.
If you're new to 599CD and you want to download and install our Video Player software so that you can watch your courses when you're not connected to the Internet, click on the Video Player link. There are separate WalkThru instructions available for the Video Player on that page, so we will not cover it here.
To see a listing of all of the courses (and handbooks) you've purchased, click on the My Courses link.
You will see an alphabetical listing of all of the courses you've ever purchased from 599CD with this account.
If you wish to manually download one of your courses without using our Video Player software OR you want to get the installation password for the course, then click on the course name. This will bring up the course details page.
On this page you will see the course name, the installation password, and links to manually download this course if you don't want to use our Video Player software (not recommended, but some companies prohibit installing 3rd party applications). We have a separate WalkThru tutorial available for downloading your tutorials without installing our software.
Now go back to the Main Menu by clicking on the Main link on the menubar.
You can find your complete order history by clicking on the My Order History link.
This will show a list of all of your orders and their status. Keep in mind if you placed your order within the last 20 minutes or so, it might not show up on this list. You can click the Pending Orders link to see if it's still being processed.
To see the status of any one order, just click on it. This screen will show the status of your order, the date that it shipped, the order total, the address it was shipped to, etc.
Back on the Main Menu, the Order Courses link will show you a list of your courses, and at the bottom, you might see a Customer Loyalty Discount. This discount is to reward returning customers. Click on the link to place an order with your discount.
Also back on the Main Menu is the Courses I'm Missing link. This will generate a list for you of all of the 599CD courses you don't own. This is handy if you're someone who wants to learn, for example, all of our Microsoft Access courses. This will show you if you're missing one or more courses.
You will also find a link on the Main Menu for Customer Service items. Every piece of correspondence you send to us using the Web Contact Form is stored in our server. If you have tried to contact us and you haven't received a response, you can check here to see if we did respond, but you never received our email (it might have ended up in your junk mail folder, killed as spam, etc.).
Also, there is a link here on the Main Menu to change your login password if you need to. I am going to add an option on here as well to change your email address, but I haven't gotten to that yet. If you need to change your email, please contact customer service.
Finally, there is a My Account Info tab which shows your name, address, notes, etc. This information is updated every time you place an order with us. You do not have to contact us with updated billing information, or a change of address if you're moving and you're not expecting a package from us. The next time you place an order, this data will automatically update from your order info.
