Excel 2007 Basic 1 Recorded
By Richard Rost   Richard Rost on Twitter Richard Rost on LinkedIn Email Richard Rost   13 years ago

I've finished recording the videos for Excel 2007 Basic Level 1. I'm working on Level 2 right now. I'm going to try to finish all of the Basic courses in one shot and then package them all up together. That should save me a bunch of time, rather than releasing them all separately.

Here's a list of what's covered in Excel 2007 Basic Level 1. It's your basic introductory-level Excel class for beginners.

UPDATE 11/20: Excel B1 is now online. You can order it, watch it in the Theater, and download it. I'm waiting until I have the next couple of Excel classes finished before I make the "official" release notice (hopefully this weekend) but for those of you die-hard Excel fans who can't wait to get a copy, you can now.

Richard, you are correct. If you've already taken my Basic and Intermediate Excel 2000/2003 courses, then you probably won't learn anything new in Excel 2007 Basic 1. It's for beginners.

If you want to get up to speed on the changes from 2003 to 2007, then pick up the Upgrading to Excel 2007 seminar which covers all of these differences.

I will say, however, that I am planning to cover much NEW material in the upcoming Excel 2007 EXPERT series, so you probably will benefit from those.
