Richard -
I believe that there MIGHT be another answer to Nela's Row Width.
I would almost bet that she is changing the Width of the row to fit her data while the form is in Layout Mode.
That would make all the "widths" in a column the same width - not just size the individual field. Read More...

That could be. So hard to tell sometimes from the limited information I get from people. :)
