Hey folks. Just wanted to let you know I'm working on Lesson 3 right now. Here's a heads up: you know that Invoicing video I just did for TechHelp? Well one of the reasons I took the time and made 2 hours of video was because I'm planning on using that template for our class too. We're going to be using Recordsets to do inventory management (stock in/out, etc.)
Yes, we've built an order entry system before in the Expert classes. However there's just so much jam packed in there AND I've learned a lot of new stuff myself in the 8 YEARS since I initially recorded those lessons. Yeah, it's been that long: 2013 was when I recorded the order entry system in Access Expert 8. So this is a good clean fresh start.
I'm going to be included both the free and Members TechHelp videos as part of this class like I've been doing (free bonus material, of course, that won't count towards your hour) so if you want to get a head start by watching those, do it now - at least part 1 (which is free for everyone) and part 2 (if you're a member).
Then part 3 (which will be our lesson 5) will be uploaded as soon as it's finished - probably tomorrow. Enjoy!

Richard - please refresh me on "counting towards your hour" if you would. Also there have been so many new learning/lesson changes I wonder if it would be possible to put them altogether somewhere rather than scattering them around. Just an idea. By the way I was never able to see the tech help extended cuts - not very savvy with YouTube. Thanks and God Bless
Hi John. My goal is to make each class that you pay for a minimum of one hour of instruction. Every class from Beginner 1 to Developer 23 has been at LEAST one hour of new material. Sometimes, however, there are other video that I feel would fit in well, or they provide supporting material for what we're covering. So I'll add those to the class, but I don't count those towards the hour of new material. Some, like my TechHelp videos provide some background before I go into the more advanced topics in the Developer class. Get it now?
You are set up as a Silver Member through YouTube which means you should be able to watch the Extended Cut videos BOTH on YouTube AND on my web site. I do also offer annual memberships which save you 20% but you have to subscribe on my web site which means you won't be able to watch them on YouTube (if you care).
Sorry, only students may add comments.
