TreeView Control Upload Images   Link

Just finished Lessons 05 & 06 and found the TreeView control interesting. I can see where it would be useful and would be interested in learning more about it. I do have one quick question. Is there a way to print out the entire tree view as it happens to be expanded at the time? When I try to print it when it is fully expanded, it only partially prints. Thanks Joe

Yes. In the detail section for your report, you'll need to put the code to load the Tree and then Expand All. However, the TreeView control itself doesn't have a CanGrow property, so you need to make it as big as you think it's going to be, and hopefully that won't be more than one page. If so, it will get truncated. Not a control that's really meant for printing. I'd use a normal report with grouping levels instead.

I just posted the final two videos for Developer 20. We will learn how to use the TreeView control which is great for displaying hierarchical data.

I'd love to see images, set like a node type, folders/computers for the Asset Management Seminar etc.

Drag and Drop is always great. Moving things like assets to locations is always a good one, then update its relationship.

I would like to see more TreeViews. E.g. when more tabels are in use not just one as in your D20.
