How does a person copy existing transaction from Excel to Checkbook and still have the Query calculated fields accurate? Seems like the first two rows wont calculate.
Richard Rost
Perform an import from Excel directly into the table. Then the query should work.

No matter what I do, if I import into the CheckRegT, the calculated fields wont populate only those records. Any records I type in for example opening balances, will calculate in all three fields. I've imported number fields as number fields. Will continue on with rest of the lessons as they are really good stuff!
Richard Rost
That's strange. As long as you import into the Debit and Credit fields, the Amount and other calculated fields should update. The form is based on a query which does the calculations. I just tried it and it worked fine for me.
