Access Tip: Add To Combo Box
By Richard Rost   Richard Rost on Facebook Richard Rost on Twitter Richard Rost on LinkedIn Email Richard Rost   5/26/2012 11:17:36 AM
Have you ever wanted to add an item to a combo box or list box while you're in the middle of entering new records? It's annoying to have to stop and load up the other form, add the value, close the form, and then find that the combo box hasn't updated itself with the new value! Frustrating. In this Microsoft Access video tutorial, you will learn how to add a record to a combo box with a simple 2nd form and one line of VBA code. Super easy to do: Add To Combo Box.

Access Tip Add To Combo Box Comment from Jim @ 5/29/2012

Thanks for your clarification of this issue for me and all of your students.  This will be a big help.  I am still going to utilize the on not in list recordsets in other facets of my database as it is needed.  Again thanks!

Great Tip will use a lot. How can I download video for offline viewing?

Reply from Richard Rost:

You want to download that TIP video? I've been posting them on YouTube to take some of the hosting load off of my server. I don't think you can download them from YouTube. I could put them up on my server as well if people are interested in downloading them. Once I get the NEW THEATER up and online, I'm going to move all of the Tip videos there as well, and you can download them from there.
