I have a new problem.
I have a MainMenuF with the record Source pointing to my EmployeesT. When i open a record using the dropdown box that has their ID and full name and add data to the related fields, the Employee ID changes, even though that field is locked. What could be causing this?

Have you bound your Combo to a Field by mistake?

Yes I did. That works, thanks. I now need to work on updating the remaining hrs an employee has as they use their time throughout the year. then regenerate maximum hrs at the beginning of the new year. I.E. keep the count down of hrs until years end for each record, then renew hrs at new year.

I recently purchased the Beginners and Expert up tp 25 classes and they have helped greatly. I know I'm jumping around, but can you help me with saving data for each form I made so they can be viewed, queried and reported individually. I.E. I need to save data for a Paid leave form, Unpaid Leave form, and FMLA form for an employee.

Reply from Alex Hedley:

Have you created a Form for each and bound them as the RecordSource to their respective Tables (or Queries)?

Our employees accrue hrs based on this rate:
2018 Accrual Rate: 160/12 = 13.33 hours/month or .7655/hours per day (160 hours/209 working days in 2018)
How do I create a query that will use this rate? Also how can i apply this rate to automatically add to the employee's hrs?
Accrued hrs must be used within the year or they are lost. They start over every year based on their tenure;0-1=0hr;1-3=40hr; 3-5=80hr; 5-10=120hr; 10-99=160hrs.
Hope this makes some sense.
